The rubber overlay sheds mud way better than my old nylon leash, one wipe and it's clean. Grip feels solid even when my hands are wet from the hose.
Took this out in a downpour and the rubber coating stayed completely dry underneath, no soggy grip like my old nylon leash. The polyester core feels sturdy enough for my 70 lb lab who pulls. Finally a leash I don't have to baby in bad weather.
