Took this out in a downpour and the rubber overlay kept the whole leash from getting soggy, which my old fabric one never managed. The polyester core still feels solid after a couple months of daily walks.
The rubber overlay sheds mud way better than my old nylon leash, one wipe and it's clean. Grip feels solid even when my hands are wet from the hose.
