My pup is a toy-destroyer, but the rubber core inside this plush guy has actually survived a week of relentless chewing. The rubber core held up through a full hour of tug-of-war and my pittie still wanted more, while the plush outer layer kept her from getting bored like she does with plain rubber bones. Even the squeaker survived, which never happens with our other toys.
The hidden rubber core underneath the plush layer is a clever idea, and my dog has been working on it for days without getting through. It's a bit heavier than I expected, but that just makes it easier for her to carry around the house.
