That screw-lock hook gives me total peace of mind on walks since my husky likes to bolt after squirrels, and it hasn't budged once. The handle loop is padded just enough that my hands don't ache after an hour at the park.
The screw-lock hook is a small thing but it gives me real peace of mind on walks, no accidental unclipping when my boy lunges at squirrels. Polyester feels soft in hand even on long walks.
My dog usually chews through leashes in a month, but this polyester one has held up great and still feels soft on my palm even when she pulls. The hook's screw lock gives me real peace of mind during our walks, too.
